HKVCA's VC and PE Education course was held in February. This comprehensive training course covering six modules in 18 hours was led by a top tier faculty of highly seasoned senior industry practitioners and experts engaged in years of deal-making, structuring, value-creation in companies and exits. Instructors drew on their extensive real life experiences to illustrate their points. 2 case studies were jointly developed and presented by Hong Kong University and Science and Technology with protagonists of the cases present to share their perspectives of the issues under discussion. The course was found to be very valuable and highly rated by the 90 participants.

Golf Day 2011 was another great success. The new venue at Shek O was a hit, helped by perfect weather. Everyone had a fun time, using the occasion to build camaraderie and relationships.
The next Golf Day will take place on March 16, 2012.
