The Workshop is designed for investment-seeking entrepreneurs/companies wishing to refresh and enrich their knowledge of the entire investment cycle. The workshop is led by industry veterans and practitioners engaged in years of deal-making, structuring company, value-creation in companies and exits. Theories illustrated by real case studies will be shared in order to equip participants with the negotiation skills and tactics needed before, during and after the investment.
The Investment Matching Event is designed to facilitate meetings between venture capitalists and companies in Hong Kong and China. There will be a VC Investment Matching Track that goes parallel with an Angel Investment Matching Track. 4-5 companies will present their business plan in each track, and their teasers will be provided upon request. Participates will be given a FREE ticket of Hong Kong Venture Capital and Angel Conference (luncheon include).

The findings of a HKVCA Survey with 84 companies on challengings facing startup businesses in Hong Kong was presented on a Cocktail Mixer at the American Club on October 21 by Roger Marshall from HKVCA Venture Committee and Gordon Oldham from Oldham Li & Nie. This is a 2 parts survey on the formation of entrepreneurial enterprises in Hong Kong and how to foster their creation and development. The Mixer was attended by 80 entrepreneurs and investors.

The 7th Wine Tasting in 2010 was a resounding success! The pairing of 6 superb wines with the choice of Western and Chinese food was quite a gastronomic experience. Simon Tam the renowned wine expert entertained and educated the packed house of 60 participants.
The 8th Wine Tasting will be held on November 21, 2011.
More than 30 distinguished speakers who are leading practitioners in Asia gathered to share knowledge of their markets in China, India, South East Asia and Central Asia at the Asia Private Equity Forum 2011. For the 240 participants from across the continents from China, US, Canada, India, Europe, Russia, Australia, Japan, Korea, Taiwan and South East Asia, it proved to be a worthwhile day in understanding the opportunities and challenges in each of the markets, and in very useful networking.
The next Asia Private Equity Forum will be held on January 18, 2012.
