Rösler-Group – Schelkmann GmbH

Nature of Business:

Retreading of Giant Size Tyres for Natural Resources Mining Equipment

Funds Required: Per Project approx. 3,5 -4,0 Mio. Euro, several project can be run parallel

Project Details:
Currently international mining companies (such as BHP, Rio Tinto, etc.) are running at their maximum capacity, mining equipment is under full utilization. Due to major supply shortage of giant size new tyres (e.g. rim size 51’ or 57’, from Michelin, Bridgestone) mining companies start to use retreaded tyres as alternative. Rösler-Group has a globally unique and technically leading technology that is able to achieve similar mileage as new tyres, however at around 70% of cost. The concept is to build small units (capacity about 800 giant size tyres per year) logistically near the mining regions (e.g. Western Australia, Central Africa, Chile, Inner Mongolia, etc.) Rösler-Group provides a full turn-key-project (incl. Machinery, installation, know-how, training, raw material supply, technical and commercial management, sales). If required, Rösler-Group is also ready to take over up to 20% of the shares of such investment. Feasibility study is available, period of amortization around 2 years.
